Hair and makeup are a big part of setting the stage for the boudoir experience!
I tend to refer to my style as “boho chic / just woke up like this” vibe. What does that mean? A loose curl or wave in the hair and a little messy or bed head volume. For makeup we like eyes a little amped up that play off whatever gorgeous eye color or shape you have and we always suggest some lashes if you would like. They make such a difference in your images. For lips we always play off colors that work with your skin tone and what you are wearing. We stick to neutrals, pinks, or even just gloss. For your final look we can even go for a red lip! My hair and makeup squads are absolutely amazing!
I always work with clients to match their vision while still looking like themselves. We are not going for overdone! I absolutely do not want you to come to your viewing to see all your post shoot images and it not look like you. I also want you to look at your images in 10-15 years and see classic and gorgeous art you can be super proud of. I steer clear of too much makeup or hair trends so your images stand the test of time. With my clients and my hair and makeup teams, I strive to ensure that we amplify the beauty my clients already have without it ever looking too much.
Do not be surprised if you hear me give feedback to my artists or help you make choices. Like I say on my website I AM your wing girl through this process, making sure YOU feel your best and are 100% comfortable. That is my main and absolute TOP priority. Also, I always encourage clients to bring pictures for inspo to their shoot if they would like.
I instruct my clients to arrive at the shoot with a clean face and clean, dry hair. My glam squad will get you majorly dolled up! We will ensure you are comfortable and elated with your look!
Champagne anyone?! While getting ready we always have a little bubbly or non-alcoholic beverages for our clients to relax and enjoy. Also fun music is a must! It is part of pampering of you on your special day. Think about it, isn’t getting ready for a night out sometimes even more fun than the actual night out!?
